On the subject of Computers:
I barely know how to turn on a computer.
I use computers at work or at home, to do email and such.
I am a Mac fanboy.
I work as a computer programmer or IT specialist.

I write my own computer games or other software... because I enjoy coding in my spare time.
On the subject of Comic Books:
Comic books are for kids, not mature adults.
I like Spiderman and Superman, you know, the ones from those movies.
I'm all about the Dark Knight!
I was into X-Men way before the movies came out.
I fancy myself a comic book artist, and have dreams that I am Wolverine. Check out my webcomic!
On the subject of Computer Games:
Computer games are a waste of time.
I sometimes pass time with mine-sweeper or an online crossword.
I enjoy console games.
I enjoy a variety of games on my personal computer.
I play for hours and hours, stopping only for sleep, pizza, or at the insistence of a significant other.
I live for my MMORPG. I quit my job so I could dedicate myself to a more complete raid schedule.
On my academic career after High School:
Not applicable -- didn't go to college.
I went to college for one reason: BEER.
I have a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
I have a degree in social sciences, liberal arts, geology, etc.
I have a degree in computer science.
I have a degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry or engineering.
I was working on a degree in computer science, but I was gaming so much that I had to drop out.
On the subject of Sports:
They called me Mr. Varsity in High School. Check out these guns!
If it's the season for it, I'm watching it -- unless I'm too busy playing it myself!
I enjoy some sports on television, and play some casual sports as well.
I sometimes watch a game here or there, and enjoy Super Bowl parties. Actually playing sports would be too much effort, though.
I tried soccer once. The other kids were mean to me. Now exercise for me is heading to the vending machine down the hall.
On the subject of the great Outdoors:
I've conquered several 14ers, and dream of one day hitting Everest!
I love to go hiking and camping, and regularly head out to favorite spots.
I went hiking once. Not all that exciting.
Getting out for all that woodsy stuff is just way too much effort. Give me a sofa and a tv!
I don't go outside. The sun hurts me. Better to stay safe and out of sight.
On the subject of Roleplaying Games:
Huh?
Oh right, I remember Dungeons and Dragons from the 1980's.
I admit it, I played D&D when I was younger.
I play D&D or a similar game with a group of friends.
They call me Dungeon Master.
I spent hundreds of dollars building a fancy digital projection table to take my campaigning to the next level!
Playing my 15th level Wizard of the Nether Realms was way too tame. Now I have a new love: LARP!
On the subject of school Band / Orchestra:
I was secretly glad Band and Orchestra geeks were out there in High School. They gave me someone to feel superior to.
Meh. To each his own, I say. I preferred choir.
I really wanted to play an instrument, but I can't tell a C# from an A, and my rhythm is even worse.
I was a member of Band or Orchestra.
I lived my life for Band or Orchestra.

On the subject of Monty Python:
Huh? You mean like, a snake?
Saw it once. Not funny.
Oh yeah, they have a broadway musical now! Pretty funny.
I've seen most of the movies and some of the television series. Very humorous.

On the subject of Star Trek:
*Yawn*. Didn't they finally cancel that show?
Boring, but better than being stuck watching Nickelodeon.
I watched Star Trek before the stupid Deep Space Nine and Voyager ruined the franchise.
I have seen it all, and can prove it! Try your trivia questions out on me!

On the subject of Card Games:
You mean, like, Poker?
You mean, like, Spades and Hearts?
I comprehend the scoring system for Bridge.
Those aren't card games, you fool! Magic the Gathering is a card game!

On the subject of Star Wars:
I watched part of one of the movies when it came on tv. I forget which.
Meh. It's ok I guess.
I grew up with Luke Skywalker and still have fond memories.
I love the movies! I hate Jar Jar, but I still love the movies!
Not only can I quote memorable lines from every movie, but I look quite dashing in my Han costume!
On the subject of Fantasy novels:
Uh... I don't actually read much.
Fantasy novels? You mean children's books?
I'm pretty into Harry Potter. I wish the movies were more true to the books.
I enjoy almost every work of fantasy I can get my hands on.
It all begins with Tolkien. The movies were utter drivel. Read the books. They will change your life.
On the subject of Science Fiction novels:
Uh... remember what I said about reading?
SciFi is for nerdy boys who are afraid of girls.
I read some Science Fiction from time to time.
I subscribe to Analog, and devour both hard and soft SciFi!
I am striving to become a Science Fiction author. I wrote a story once.
I am a successful Science Fiction writer.

I am generally interested in and well-liked by members of the opposite sex.
I have a boyfriend / girlfriend.
I'm married, but my spouse is an even bigger geek than I am.
The opposite sex frightens me... except online. I am Casanova online!
